Reviewing Dollar Store Beauty Products

Happy Monday! I had an idea come into my head a couple days ago. I go into the Dollar Tree here and there, yet I have never tried any Dollar Tree beauty products. I bought 5 items that I am going to rate and review for you. I haven't done a review in quite some time, so I am very excited to get right to it.

The 5 Beauty Items

Hand & Nail Gloves

When you take these gloves out of the packaging, they are stuck together. I cut along the line, and finally got them apart. Then I had to cut into the gloves because they would not open. Once open, there is a sticky part that you stick to the middle of the glove, so they fit securely around your hands. I left these on my hands for 15 minutes. Once I took them off, I washed my hands very quickly with water only, no soap. The avocado smelled really good. It wasn't too strong. My hands were so smooth the rest of the day. Would definitely buy these again and again.

Watermelon Coconut Oil

I consider this product a knock off of the Kopari Watermelon Coconut Oil. This oil was $1.25 while the one at Kopari runs for $30. After I took all my makeup off for the day, I applied this oil onto my face. As you can see in the third photo above. Left it on for about 10 minutes then I rinsed my face clean. It left my face kind of sticky, so I had to rinse my face again. This product smells amazing though. The watermelon is a little overpowering the coconut, but the coconut scent is still there.

Whipped Coconut Lime Body Cream

I consider this product a knock off of the Bath & Body Works lotion. This lotion was $1.25 while the Bath & Body Works is well over $13.50 currently. I put this lotion all over my arms and legs. It's a very creamy lotion. I love the texture. It goes on the skin very smooth. It does not smell like coconut though. It has a very light Hawaiian smell to it that I barely noticed. Only when really smelling the lotion in the tube is when I could pick up a faint tropical smell.

Sprinkles Face Mask

After I took all my makeup off for the day, with a clean, rinsed face, I applied this mask. I left it on my face for 15 minutes. This mask smelled amazing, just like a confetti cupcake. It made my face sort of itchy while I had it on. After I took it off, I rinsed my face with water and patted it dry with a towel. My face felt so clean and smooth. Also, the sprinkles are very cute.

Lip Balm

I consider this product to be a knock off EOS lip balm. This lip balm was $1.25 while those lip balms sell for $3.79. This lotion is called, "Sweater Weather." It is supposed to smell like vanilla and mint. I did not get either of those scents, yet again. This lip balm kept my lips moisturized for hours though. It works really well, there is just no scent to it. Would purchase this lip balm again.

Those are all of the beauty items I bought from the Dollar Tree. The common theme I found with these items is that they have no scent. The packaging says they do; however, in reality they do not. The products themselves work very well. There are a few items I would purchase again. Let me know if you enjoyed reading this review because I can review the Dollar Tree's makeup next.

Xoxo,

Chey
