Urban Decay Mini Eyeshadow Palettes Review

Welcome July! It's the start of a new month, and I am coming at you with another makeup review. For my birthday, I also received the new Urban Decay mini eyeshadow palettes. I am so grateful and thankful. I got the Foxy and Half-Baked palettes, and I am so excited to try them out and review them for you. As always, I will share tons of photos of the packaging, swatches on my arms and give my full evaluation.

Foxy & Half-Baked

Foxy Palette

The Shades

Shades:

  • Foxy (Cream Bisque Matte)

  • Get Down (Khaki Shimmer)

  • Sly (Camel Matte)

  • Hot Stuff (Orange To Gold Duochrome Metallic)

  • Disco (Warm Gunmetal Metallic Glitter)

  • Funky Town (Charcoal Satin)

Swatches

Love all of the shades. There are 3 shimmers and 3 mattes. I would have to say the fourth shade, "Hot Stuff" is my favorite. It has lots of shimmer and glitter. Perfect for theses summer nights out on the town. The shades are all very neutral and go well with so many of my outfits. The texture is very buttery, blendable and velvety. The only con is, I wish this palette came with an applicator inside, so I don't have to carry one separately. This palette is priced at $29.

Half-Baked Palette

The Shades

Shades:

  • Rollin' (Golden Beige Satin)

  • Half Baked (Golden Bronze Shimmer)

  • Rocky (Gold To Pink Duochrome Metallic)

  • Buck Off (Warm Medium Brown Matte)

  • Breadwinner (Copper Metallic Glitter)

  • Edible (Deep Brown Matte)

Swatches

I love all of these shades too. There are 3 shimmers and 3 mattes as well. This is why Urban Decay is my favorite makeup brand because they just have the best colors that I will actually wear. Also, everything is vegan. These shades match all of my outfits as well because they are neutral and some, but not all, of the shades have shimmer. I would have to say the fifth shade, "Breadwinner" is my favorite. The glitter and shimmer shades are really calling my name this summer. I am loving them with my looks. This mini also doesn't come with an applicator and is priced at $29.

Both Swatches Together

Wow, I love seeing these two swatches right next to one another. These palettes complement each other so well; I just cannot pick a favorite one. Foxy is perfect for date night and Half-Baked is great for an event. They are so easy to slip right into your makeup bag. I plan on taking them with me when I travel. The price point is very reasonable for 6 new shades. I would get your hands on these palettes as soon as possible before they sell out.

I didn't receive Sin, which is the third Urban Decay mini palette. This palette has more purple colors, so if you love wearing purple or burgundy, I would totally check this one out.

So many new makeup collections coming out for the summer. I just love it. Be sure to subscribe, so you never miss a post from me. Scroll down to the middle of my home page, enter your email and hit subscribe!
