Hi everyone, happy Friday! I am back at it again. As you can probably already tell from the title, I will be reviewing Derma E products for the third time. This is my third collaboration with them on a blog post and Instagram. Thank you Derma E for sponsoring me a third time. I truly love their products, and I mean it when I say that. This time I will be reviewing products from both their firm + lift and hydrating collections. I was sent three products from each of these new lines, so I will be reviewing six total. I am super excited, so let's jump right in.
Firm + Lift Ferulic Acid Resurfacing Pads
Just like in my last post, I wanna start off by saying, that all Derma E products are 100% Vegan, GMO- Free, Cruelty free, free of parabens, sulfates, petrolatum, mineral oils, phthalates and sodium lauryl sulfates. This is very important to me, as I have said in my makeup bag post. I want a skincare product that is not only good for me, but good for the environment, good for animals, etc. These pads are basically used to remove dirt, grease or oil from your face. This is NOT MAKEUP REMOVER. Do not use on your eyes. It will burn. Gently sweep one pad across your face and neck in an outward motion. Then rinse with warm water and pat dry. It is suggested to use these three to five times a week to get a real good cleaning of your face and neck. Now, I get a strong minty smell from these, so if strong minty/fresh smells bug you I am not sure how you would feel about having that smell on your face and neck for the rest of the night. I felt that these resurfacing pads work very well. I could see the dirt and some leftover makeup come off onto these which is great. I personally swept them across my face twice. That is really all you need to get the job done.
Firm + Lift Stem Cell Eye Lifting Treatment
There is many times when I do not get enough sleep, which can result in little lines or bags under my eyes. I am someone who loves to stay up late, and never go to bed, lol, so I think this product was made for me, haha! It's so easy to use. You just squeeze a small amount of the treatment out of the applicator tip and onto your finger. Then apply to your eye area, including under the eyes and the eyelids. You can then pat until it is absorbed as well. This product works amazing. There is not a strong scent, and it absorbed right away into my skin. I did not need to pat it in. It left my under eyes feeling really smoothed and relaxed. Would highly recommend if you struggle with under eye lines or bags.
Firm + Lift Firming DMAE Serum
This serum is meant to leave your skin feeling toned, nourished and moisturized. By making supporting healthy texture and tone for visibly firmer and lifted-looking skin. You can use this in accordance with your favorite Derma-E moisturizer. I highly recommend this one linked here. As I talked about it in the last blog post. Never put the serum on after the moisturizer because the serum should always go on your skin first for the best results. You can apply this serum to your face and neck, and you can use it in the morning or evening. It is really soft, and goes on as smooth as butter. This is a nice calming, lotion scent. Again, nothing too strong because I do not really care for strong scents when it comes to skincare. I would highly recommend this serum with a moisturizer from Derma-E as well because these two products really go hand-in-hand. If you purchase a moisturizer get a serum. If you purchase a serum get a moisturizer. It really is a must to have the two together.
Hydrating Mist
Moving onto The Hydrating Collection, we have the hydrating mist that is made of hyaluronic acid, rose water and coconut water. Now this mist is used to spray over your makeup. Gently shake the bottle before using. Close your eyes, and then lightly mist your face or neck or wherever you have dry skin. This will set your makeup in place, and make it last so much longer. You do not have to use it as a makeup setting spray either. It can be used cool and hydrate any part of the face or body. This spray has a gentle rose smell to me. I do not smell the coconut as much, which really surprised me. It dries very quickly, so you do not have to wait for it to dry at all. Your face will feel refreshed and have that clean feeling after spraying it on.
Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Cloud Cleanser
I was so excited about this product when I received it. This deeply hydrating, sulfate-free foaming cleanser gently removes makeup, impurities, and excess oil without stripping the skin of its healthy moisture. Splash warm water on your face to open your pores. Gently lather over dampened face and neck. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. You can use in the morning or the evening. This cleanser left my face feeling so smooth and soft. There is not scent to it. It is enriched with a unique blend of ultra-hydrating Hyaluronic Acid and adaptogen Snow Mushroom Extract to help moisturize and condition thirsty skin.
Ultra Hydrating Alkaline Overnight Facial
I love a good facial, and this one is amazing. Simply apply a layer onto your face and neck, and then gently pat into skin until absorbed. You can leave this on overnight, and wash off in the morning with cool water. You can place this in the refrigerator for cooling and depuffing. This has a soft, jelly scent that really cool downs your face.
