I Heart Revolution x Dr. Seuss Makeup Review

It has been a while since I have done a makeup review. When I saw I Heart Revolution came out with a Dr. Seuss makeup collaboration, I knew I had to try some of it. I love Dr. Seuss. I grew up reading all of his books, so I am super excited to share my thoughts on this collection. I purchased one eyeshadow palette and one lip-gloss. I will also share photos of the entire display I saw at Target, so you can see all of the products this collection has.

There are 4 different eyeshadow palettes, 2 different face palettes, a pack of eye crayons, 2 different lip glosses and a brush set.

Actual Palette

The Shades

The 8 shades have no names, only numbers.

Love these shades. They go on very smooth. I wore the second shade yesterday, and it stayed on all day. The only con is, I wish this palette came with a brush inside. Now, I have to carry my makeup brush separately if I want to reapply this eyeshadow. It fits perfectly in my makeup bag, so petite and fun sized. Such a good deal for only $10.

Fox In Socks Lip-Gloss

Really cute packaging. I love how it says, "Fox in Socks" on the back of the bottle with a picture of the classic fox. I had a hard time getting the lip-gloss out of the bottle. The applicator is very small, and so is the opening of the actual gloss. I had to dip the applicator in the bottle at least 6 times to get enough gloss out for my lips. This lip-gloss is $7.99.

The Lip-Gloss On Me

Color: Shimmering Petal Pink

Texture: Gloss {Sticky}

Look: Shiny + Glossy

Lasts: 4 Hours

Rating: 7/10

Overall, I love the eyeshadow palette. The colors are fabulous. They match so many of my looks, and the shades stay on my eye lids the whole day. I would just add a brush inside. The lip-gloss was a miss for me. It was so sticky on my lips, and I had such a hard time getting the actual gloss out onto the applicator. I would buy another eyeshadow palette; however, I would not buy another lip-gloss. This collection is so adorable. If you love Dr. Seuss or grew up reading his books, I would definitely get at least one thing from this collaboration.
