Target Fall Designer Collection Review

The fall designer collection just dropped in stores and online this past Saturday, September 25th at Target. There are 4 designers featured, Rachel Comey, Victor Glemaud, Sandy Liang and Nili Lotan. Out of all four of them, my favorite pieces are from Sandy Liang's line. "New York born and raised, Sandy Liang brings updated ’90s hometown nostalgia to Target for this limited-edition fall essentials collection. With a sweet-meets-sporty approach, Sandy mixes fun style with wearable comfort to create iconic pieces with a sense of luxury and wit." I have three different outfits from her line that I am going to review.

Look #1

Price is $50

100% Polyester

36 Inches for total length

Puff sleeves and a tiered bodice

Crew neckline

Wearing a size small, true to size.

Hard to get over the head if you do not undo the bows on the back. There are 3. Very tedious to have to redo the bows every time you put on and take off the dress.

Overall, 8/10. Wouldn't buy because the bows are a lot to tie and then untie every time when wearing this dress.

Look #2

Price is $30

60% Cotton, 30% Nylon, 10% Wool

The length reaches to the waist

Sleeveless and pullover

Sweetheart neckline

Ribbed hem

Wearing a size small, true to size.

This is basically a sleeveless sweater because of the waffle knit construction. Very easy easy to slip on and tuck under the skirt.

Overall, 7/10. Simply because I do not like the color pink on me. I feel like it washes me out. I also feel like the neckline is sitting weird on me too, so I would not buy this.

Price is $40

100% Cotton

31.5 Inches for total length

Mid-rise midi skirt with an A-line silhouette

Contrast yellow zipper closure on the side

Wearing a size 4, true to size.

This skirt is perfect for fall. I love the prints and the flare out shape it gives.

Overall, 9/10. I like how it cinches at my waist then flares out at the bottom. The different types of plaid all around make it very cool and unique. I ended up purchasing this one.

Look #3

Price is $45

100% Cotton

43 Inches for total length

Sleeveless and pullover

Side inner pockets

Flowy silhouette with a ruffled hem

Self-tie shoulder straps

Wearing a size small, true to size.

The patchwork design features varying patterns. The color and pattern combinations are perfect for the autumn season.

Overall, 10/10. I love this dress so much. It was on my list of things I wanted to get from the collection. I love the variety of patchwork on it. I will be adding a long sleeve shirt underneath for the colder temperatures approaching. The length is just above my ankles, so I will be wearing some black boots with this dress. A must-have pieces from her collection!

Those are my 3 different outfits I tried on from Sandy Liang's collection. Very happy with my dress and skirt I snagged on launch day. I cannot wait to get some more pictures styling them this fall. I was bummed that the black long sleeve smocked dress from her collection was not sold in stores at all, and only available online. If I would have known that beforehand, I would have bought it at 3a.m. when the collection launched on Target's website. What did you snag from the Target Fall Designer Collection? I can also review more items from other collections that are still in store if anyone would like. Until the next one.

Xoxo,

Chey
