Happy Monday! I hope you all had an amazing Christmas spent with your loved ones. Wow, Christmas arrived so quickly this year. It came and went like the wind. Looking back at this year, I realized I never posted my Nashville travel guide, so I am going to post this Travel Guide instead of a NYE LookBook this year. We went for my birthday. I am going to share where we stayed (the two different hotels), where we ate and what we did. This is somewhere you must visit in 2026. Such a fun place with so much country music history.

Where I Stayed
We stayed at two different hotels. First, we stayed at the Holiday Inn Nashville Downtown Stadium by IHG. We really liked this hotel. It has a very nice view of the city. Even though it says it is walking distance to the major attractions, I would say it is not. We had to drive everywhere we wanted to go. Parking is free and there is a huge parking lot, so you will always get a spot. After December 31, 2025, parking will be $25 a night. No free breakfast; however, there is a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Would I stay here again? To be honest, if I came back, I would want to stay at a different hotel in the area. This hotel was pricy for what little is included in your stay.
On our last night, in Tennessee, we stayed at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center. There is nine acres of airy indoor garden atriums with a thrilling atrium light and fountain show, interactive scavenger hunts, a Scottish links-style 18-hole golf course, many restaurants and bars, Auntie Annie's, Starbucks, Dairy Queen, a world-class spa, 3 pools, an outdoor hot tub and a state-of-the-art fitness center. This hotel was the most expensive hotel I have ever stayed at. At almost $600 a night, I would say the price is partly worth it. There is so much to see and explore; however, I do not think I would go back because of the price alone. Still, an awesome hotel you need to stay at, at least once.

The Musicians Hall of Fame and Museum- The Musicians Hall of Fame is a premiere Nashville attraction and the one and only museum in the world that honors the talented musicians who actually played on the greatest recordings of all time. Each exhibit tells the story of a musician that you may have heard but may have never seen. We wanted to go here, but unfortunately, ran out of time.
Where To Eat
White Limozeen- A stylish, all-pink venue on the roof of the Graduate Hotel serving global bites, seafood & cocktails. Dolly Parton themed! I took my birthday photo here. It was too cute to resist.
The Row Kitchen & Pub- For over 30 years, The Row was the hangout spot for singers & songwriters who helped shape country music history. With their distinct Nashville cuisine and nightly live music, they are still living up to their reputation of being a "True Taste of Nashville." Signature burgers, seafood & 20+ Southern draft beers served in a rustic-chic space with live music, a go-to when in Nashville.
Caney Fork River Valley Grille- Southern fried specialties & wild game dishes in a camping lodge environment with an indoor pond. A very cool, country-themed restaurant with a live band.
Captain D's- Delicious, affordable seafood options. We stopped here for some lunch, and it was so delicious. It was very affordable and a great deal for the amount of food we got as well.

Mimi's Ice Cream & Coffee Shoppe- Family-owned shop offering made-to-order ice cream and frozen yogurt, coffee, and waffle cones. We stopped here for some dessert after eating at the Caney Fork River Valley Grille. It was really fresh and delicious!
